Five elements of cleansing

(1) Pollutants
What properties does the pollutant have? Is it organic or inorganic, water-soluble or oil-soluble, polar or non-polar? Is the form of the pollutant solid or liquid, or in powder form? It is still film-like; whether the degree of adhesion of contaminants to the surface of the workpiece is firm or not, whether it is mechanical adhesion, physical adhesion or chemical adhesion, etc.
(2) Workpiece
What material is the workpiece to be cleaned made of? Is it metal or non-metal? Is it a wetted surface or a non-wetting surface? Is it a high-energy surface or a low-energy surface? Is it susceptible to corrosion, swelling or cracking? What is the surface roughness? What protective layer and special requirements are there?
(3)Cleaning medium
Determine which cleaning medium to use based on the nature of the contaminants and their adhesion to the workpiece surface. Whether to use organic solvents or water-based solvents, polar solvents or non-polar solvents, depends on the solubility, surface activity, chemical reactivity of the cleaning medium, the corrosiveness and compatibility of the workpiece material, and the economics and economics of use. A comprehensive analysis will be conducted on factors such as safety and environmental impact.
(4)Cleaning process
What process method should be used for cleaning? Should we use organic solvent vapor phase cleaning or semi-aqueous solvent cleaning or water-based cleaning? Should we use dipping or spraying, scrubbing, brushing, ultrasonic cleaning or various combinations? Whether to use high-pressure spray cleaning or low-pressure spray cleaning, whether additional vibration, jitter, rotation, etc. are needed during the cleaning process; whether to clean at room temperature or heated cleaning; whether the cleaning process is divided into several cleanings (fine cleaning and rough cleaning), several times Rinsing; how to dry the workpiece, how long each step takes, how to achieve the specified cleanliness, how to prevent recontamination during the cleaning process, and how to monitor the cleanliness, etc.
(5)Cleaning equipment
Manual cleaning or mechanical cleaning, what mechanism is used to transport the workpiece, batch cleaning machine or pass-through cleaning machine; electric heating or steam heating; what power and frequency should be used for ultrasonic waves; how to shake and jitter the workpiece during cleaning , rotation, how the cleaning medium is recycled and regenerated during the cleaning process, how to control it during the cleaning process, what safety protection measures are adopted, etc.
